29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 10 Gladstone St, Forked River NJ: On or about January 7, 2019, All Done Siding, LLC. an employee were conducting siding activities on a multi-story new construction townhome style residence. A single employee was observed installing siding on the second floor of the residential property. There were no guardrails in place and the employee was not using any form of fall protection. The employee was exposed to fall hazards of greater than 10 feet to the ground below. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
