29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training required by paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5), prior to permitting an employee to operate a forklift: On or about February 6, 2019 employees were exposed to hazards associated with the operation of powered industrial trucks where the employer provided a "Hyster" liquid propane powered forklift for use in the workplace to perform maintenance and servicing of buses and the facility and did not ensure that all operators were trained or evaluated prior to permitting the employees to operate the forklift. Transdev Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1304906, citation number 1, item number 3a and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2880 Remington Park Court, in Norcross, Georgia.

29 CFR 1910.157(g)(2): The educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting was not provided to all employees upon initial employment, and at least annually thereafter: On or about February 6, 2019 in the Transdev shops and office areas the employer continued to provide portable fire extinguishers for voluntary use at the site and had not provided fire extinguisher education within the preceding 12 months as required by this standard.
