29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) AND AS REFERENCED BY THE NOTE CONTAINED IN 1926.602(d): 29 CFR 1926.602(d): The employer did not certify that each operator had been trained and evaluated as required by paragraph 29 CFR 1910.178(l): Note: The requirements applicable to construction work under paragraph (d) of this section are identical to those set forth at paragraph (l) of 29 CFR 1910.178. East side of the commercial building: On or about January 30, 2019, employees were exposed to fall and ejection/crushing hazards, while the forklift operator was not trained and evaluated on the safe operation of a Genie Telehandler (Model: GTH844D).
