29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative.    a. Production area - On or about February 1, 2019, written energy control program (lockout/tagout) consisting of an energy control specific procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections was not available for employees exposed to the hazards of rotating moving parts when performing service and/or maintenance on the Jones packaging machine (#IMV- 363, and other operating equipment.

Main building production area - On or about February 1, 2019, the sprocket wheel and chain on the Jones packaging machine (#IMV-363) was not adequately guarded, thereby employees were exposed to the hazards associated with in-going nip points.
