29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(viii): Portable fire extinguishers were not inspected periodically in accordance with maintenance and use of portable fire extinguishers, N.F.P.A. No. 10A-1970 On or about January 31, 2019, at the construction site located at 1201 South Roman Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 ; the employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers received annual maintenance check. Instance A On the first floor of the construction site, one portable fire extinguisher was missing inspection tag and the ring has been tampered. Instance B On the first and second floor of the construction site, the inspection tags on two portable fire extinguishers indicated that it was last checked in 2017.
