29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s). a) Spring Table Area - On or about January 25, 2019, the employer failed to ensure the point of operation on the pneumatic vise was guarded during operating cycles when employees were required to hand-feed the work piece (leaf spring assembly) onto the vice's assembly table. Employees were thereby exposed to crushed-by hazards associated with moving parts.
