29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(2)(i): During use, containers for contaminated sharps were not easily accessible to personnel or located as close as was feasible to the immediate area where sharps were used or could be reasonably anticipated to be found: South Gowning Room: On or about February 6, 2019, the container for contaminated sharps included at least one uncapped contaminated needle that had been transported from the assembly area, approximately 100 feet away.

29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(vii)(F): The bloodborne pathogens training program did not contain an explanation of the use or limitations of methods that would prevent or reduce exposure including appropriate engineering controls, work practices or personal protective equipment: Mezzanine Tool Shop, Biohazardous Waste Storage Area: Contract maintenance employees were not instructed on what to do when sharps containers and bags of biohazardous waste are brought to the locked cage for storage, and there are no closable Stericycle containers available to place the collected material into. Individual biohazardous waste bags and containers were stored on top of the filled Stericycle containers for a period of two months while awaiting disposal.
