29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): 29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: a) On or about February 1, 2019, at the above referenced inspection site, the employer did not ensure a stairway, used by employees to access the facility's basement to perform preparation work for the application of fireproofing insulation, was equipped with a handrail. Employees were thereby exposed to slip/trip/fall hazards.
