29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  Marcus Jewish Community Center - Weinstein School, 5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, GA- On or about 02/05/2019, and times prior to, employees were exposed to chemicals such as Zep DZ7 disinfectant, Zep Apriza 2, Geneon Sanitizer/Disinfectant (containing hypochlorus acid), and raw sewage. The employer had not developed a written hazard communication program at the site.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)  Marcus Jewish Community Center - Weinstein School, 5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, GA- On or about 02/05/2019, and times prior to, employees were exposed to chemicals hazards such as Zep DZ7 disinfectant, Zep Apriza 2, Geneon Sanitizer/Disinfectant (containing hypochlorus acid), and raw sewage. Safety Data Sheets for these products were not maintained at the school for employees immediate use.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area.    Marcus Jewish Community Center - Weinstein School, 5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, GA- On or about 02/05/2019, employees are exposed to chemicals such as Zep DZ7 disinfectant, Zep Apriza 2, Geneon Sanitizer/Disinfectant (containing hypochlorus acid), and raw sewage. Affected employees did not receive hazard communication information and training on the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the workplace.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
