29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about January 21, 2019, and at times prior thereto, at the Trinity Valley School baseball fields, the employer did not ensure employees working on top of the dugouts performing roof decking activities were protected from falling approximately 9 feet and 11 inches to the ground below. Employees were exposed to an unprotected fall hazard.
