29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 2/8/2019, A struck by hazard existed by #7 oven where a 7' gap in the guarding existed in the chiller opening where the machine turns between the platform and the work ahead area. b) On or about 2/8/2019, A struck by hazard existed where the rotator arm access was not protected due to barrier guard chains being damaged and broken for #10 Oven area. c) On or about 2/8/2019, A struck by hazard existed where employees were cleaning in the lower level while the equipment was still spinning for oven #14 without barrier guard protection. There was also exposure at the operators level where the guard wires were in need of repair and not utilized.
