29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Identification, splices, and terminations. Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a. Dock Area - On or about January 29, 2019, the flexible power cord utilized as a power source for the man lift was not adequately installed, in that strain relief devices were not utilized to prevent damages to the cord.
