29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(8): Stairrail systems and handrails were not so surfaced as to prevent injury to employees from punctures or lacerations, and to prevent snagging of clothing: a) On or about 02/05/19, at Bent's Opera House, under renovation, located at 444 Main Street, in Medina, New York, a handrail on the main stairway, in use by employees and leading to the basement from the first floor had been damaged creating sharp and ragged splinters. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
