29 CFR 1926.502(b)(2): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, or equivalent intermediate structure members were not installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working surface when there was no wall or parapet wall at least 21 inches (53 cm) high. (a) On or about 02/08/19, at the new site for Mindex Technologies, located at Alex Park (Alexander Street), in Rochester, New York, an employee working in the basket of an extensible boom platform (scissor lift) 17 feet above the lower level, did not latch the chain for use of a mid-rail as part of the guardrail system for fall protection. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
