29 CFR 1926.1052(a)(7): Slippery conditions on stairways shall be eliminated before the stairways are used to reach other levels: Instance a. Concrete steps - On or about February 5, 2019, an employee attempting to navigate the concrete steps slipped and fell, where slippery conditions such as ice were not eliminated to prevent the hazard. Instance b. Interior wooden staircase - On or about February 5, 2019, ice accumulated on the steps of the interior staircase which was utilized by employees to access the second and third floor level and was not eliminated prior to use by those employees.
