29 CFR 1926.451(b)(10): Scaffold components manufactured by different manufacturers shall not be intermixed unless the components fit together without force and the scaffold's structural integrity is maintained by the user. Scaffold components manufactured by different manufacturers shall not be modified in order to intermix them unless a competent person determines the resulting scaffold is structurally sound. On or about February 14, 2019, employees installing siding from scaffold were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 17.5 feet when the employer failed to ensure intermixed scaffold components were not used. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

On or about February 14, 2019, employees installing siding from scaffold were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 17.5 feet when the employer failed to ensure fall protection was used.
