If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired:    a. On or about February 14, 2019, at the platform leading to the Control Panel station, there was a large 6 feet long by 15 1/4 inch gap in the walk way, that was not repaired or guarded, exposing employees to fall hazards.
