Blast Area:  An employee sand blasting metal material was exposed to 130% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8-hour time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 91.8 dBA during the 180 minute sampling period on February 28, 2019. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the three hundred minutes not sampled. The employer has not established a hearing conservation program.

Blast Area:  An employee sand blasting metal material was exposed to 130% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8-hour time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 91.8 dBA during the 180 minute sampling period on February 28, 2019. The exposure calculation included a zero increment for the three hundred minutes not sampled. The employer has not provided the employees with annual audiograms.
