29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about February 16, 2019, four (4) employees worked on a residential roof, with a 5:12 pitch, to install flashing around a dormer without the use of any type of fall protection systems and were exposed to 8-foot, 9-inch fall hazards. b. On or about February 16, 2019, an employee worked on a residential roof, with a 5:12 pitch, to measure and mark lines for shingle placement without the use of any type of fall protection systems and was exposed to 12-foot, 6-inch fall hazards. c. On or about February 16, 2019, the company owner/manager worked on a residential roof, with a 5:12 pitch, to install flashing around a dormer without the use of any type of fall protection systems and were exposed to 12-foot fall hazards.
