OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to serious physical harm to employees in that employees are exposed to a fire hazard in the event the elevator malfunctioned: a) 2 & 8 E Main Street at the Roundhouse Complex - On or about 2/21/19, the employees utilize a freight elevator to transport food and employees from the kitchen floor to the banquet floor, 1 traveling floor. Their was no method of communication for employees to use in the event the elevator malfunctioned and became disabled between floors. The emergency call button did not work on 2/21/19.
