29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training sufficient to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees a. On or about 2/16/19 operators were exposed to amputation and caught by hazards while engaged in servicing and/or maintenance of Rennco bagger machine 937, including but not limited to clearing and cleaning jams from the seal bar, where the employer failed to fully document that employees were trained to use existing lock out/tag out procedures for the control of potentially hazardous energy. 1(b) Complainant hereby amends his Notification of Penalty for violations alleged in the Citation issued June 13, 2019, so that they are as follows:
