NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 3/1/19 at a roof project located at 5599 Camp Road, Hamburg, New York; employees were replacing shingles on the roof of an awning. The roof had a 7 in 12 pitch and an eave height of approximately 16 feet. There was no fall protection in use. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED DNR Home Improvements was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1238970, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/18/17, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Ashwood Court, Lancaster, New York.
