29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On or about 02/28/2019 at the Evergreen Crossing Retirement Project, employees were working at, near, and above reinforcing steel while erecting a scaffolding system. The rebar had mushroom type caps that did not provide impalement protection.
