29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about February 26, 2019, employees were exposed to injuries from falls, while conducting reroofing activities, without the benefit of fall protection systems being in place, on a roof in excess of six feet above the lower surface. J.C. Ramirez Construction was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1325642, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 4436 E. San Miguel, Colorado Springs, CO. J.C. Ramirez Construction was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 988503, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 336 Mount View Lane, Colorado Springs, CO.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) On or about February 26, 2019, employees were exposed to injuries resulting from falls, while accessing the roof of a residential building from a portable ladder that did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface being accessed. Ramirez Construction was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1325642, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 4436 E.
