OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees; in that employees are exposed to struck by hazards. a) Randash Motors Shop 1: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while using the PVC installed airline with 120 p.s.i. supplied air to operate air tools, such as, but not limited to, impact guns. b) Randash Motors Shop 2: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while using the PVC installed airline with 120 p.s.i. supplied air to operate air tools, such as, but not limited to, impact guns.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation including nip points, rotating parts, and flying chips and sparks: a) Randash Motors Shop 1: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while operating the AC Delco, 20 ton heavy duty hydraulic shop press to press bearings. b) Randash Motors Shop 2: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while operating the Central Hydraulics, 20 ton hydraulic shop press to press bearings. c) Randash Motors Shop 1: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in hazards from unguarded rotating parts while operating the AMMCO brake lathe; number 6950 to turn rotors. d) Randash Motors Shop 2: On or about March 5, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in hazards from unguarded rotating parts while operating the BOSCH brake lathe; number 8944 to turn rotors.
