29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Line 30 Scaler Room: On or about March 4, 2019 and at times prior, employees clean Scaler with Luster QF-BC and Solvaxx QF-101 BHF. These chemicals are highly caustic (pH of 12-13) and employees do not have direct unobstructed access to an emergency shower. Employees must pass through a door to get to an emergency shower. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
