29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about March 6, 2019 at the construction site, employees were exposed to fall hazards or more than 15 feet while installing decking without a fall protection system. Quiroga Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1332768, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 17, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 23132 Kuykendahl Road, Tomball, Texas .
