29 CFR 1926.452(w)(2): Scaffold casters and wheels were not locked with positive wheel and/or wheel and swivel locks, or equivalent means, to prevent movement of the scaffold while the scaffold was used in a stationary manner: On or about 3/6/19, at 550 Admiralty Parade, Naples, FL, an employee conducting carpentry work from a one-tier baker scaffold was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 6.8 feet due to the wheels not being in the locked position.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. On or about 3/6/19, at 550 Admiralty Parade, Naples, FL, the employer did not ensure employees working on scaffolds were adequately trained to recognize the hazards associated with baker scaffold. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
