29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:                  a) On or about March 7, 2019, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating nail guns without the benefit of eye protection.                 In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):       a) On or about March 7, 2019, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 21 feet to the exterior of the building while working from top plates and the deck of the second story without the benefit of fall protection.                   b) On or about March 7, 2019, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 15 feet from second story window/wall openings where the benefit of fall protection was not provided.         In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
