29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. [63 FR 33450, June 18, 1998] a. On or about March 12, 2019, the employer did not have an emergency eyewash / shower that was located in the area of the Pickling Treatment Tanks located in the lower level. b. On or about March 12, 2019, the employer did not have an emergency eyewash / shower that was located within an appropriate vicinity of the area where employees dispensed the Northwoods Buzzsaw High Intensity Natural Citrus Cleaner / Degreaser.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical; a. On or about March 12, 2019, the employer did not have the South Tank with Pickling Rinse Water in the Evaporator #3 area properly labeled with the contents of the tank. b. On or about March 12, 2019, the employer did not have the Pickling Treatment tanks in the lower level labeled with the contents or the hazards of the chemicals contained within.
