29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) GGB North American LLC. - Gemini/Fenn Amca Line: During the machine set-up, the machine operator was using the Micrometer which got stuck in the material. While the employee was pulling the instrument, he got close to the traction roller pinch points and got his finger amputated between the strip line and the traction roller, occurred on or about 03/06/2019. b) GGB North American LLC. - Gemini/Fenn Amca Line: Traction roller before the control panel was unguarded, observed 03/07/2019.
