29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: (Construction Reference 1926.103:   CAHB Enterprise, Inc., Warner Robins, GA - On or about 02/26/19, and times prior to, employees performing duties such as, but not limited to, painting, repairing and patching walls and cabinets inside apartments, were required to wear half mask and/or full face air purifying respirators from protection against primers, acetone, and paints. A written respirator program was not developed and implemented.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: (Construction Reference 1926.103) Note:  The employer may discontinue an employee's medical evaluations when the employee is no longer required to use a respirator.  CAHB Enterprise, Inc., Warner Robins, GA - On or about 02/26/19, and times prior to, employees performing duties such as, but not limited to, painting, repairing and patching walls and cabinets inside apartments, were required to wear half mask and/or full face air purifying respirators from protection against primers, acetone, and paints. A medical evaluation was not performed before employees wore the respirators. An employee with facial hair was required to wear a respirator.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
