Construction areas, ramps, runways, corridors, offices, shops, and storage areas shall be lighted to not less than the minimum illumination intensities listed in Table D-3 while any work is in progress:      A) 971 Bonnel Ct Union, NJ 07083  The stairwell being used to access the upper working area was not illuminated exposing employees to trip and fall hazards. 29 CFR 1926.1052(b)(1): Except during stairway construction, foot traffic is prohibited on stairways with pan stairs where the treads and/or landings are to be filled in with concrete or other material at a later date, unless the stairs are temporarily fitted with wood or other solid material at least to the top edge of each pan. Such temporary treads and landings shall be replaced when worn below the level of the top edge of the pan.  A) 971 Bonnel Ct Union, NJ 07083  The stairwell being used to access the upper floors of the building were not temporarily fitted with wood or other solid material as required exposing employees to trip and fall hazards.   Hazard observed on or about 03/12/19
