29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of total dust listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration of 15 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m3):  (a) 881 North Grant Avenue, Exeland, WI, Sanding Area; On March 18, 2019, an employee sanding fiberglass reinforced parts was exposed to total dust at an 8-hour TWA of 29.1 mg/m3 of air (1.94 times the permissible exposure limit of 15.0 mg/m3). Sampling was performed for 434 minutes during one shift. Zero exposure was assumed for the 46 minute period not sampled.

29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d):  (a) 881 North Grant Avenue, Exeland, WI, Sanding Area; The employer did not implement adequate administrative or engineering controls to ensure employee(s) exposure to total dust did not exceed 15.0 mg/m3 of air as an 8-hour TWA. This violation occurred on March 18, 2019 where the employee was sanding on fiberglass reinforced parts; the employee was exposed to total dust at an 8-hour TWA of 29.1 mg/m3 of air, approximately 1.94 times the permissible exposure limit of 15.0 mg/m3. (b) 881 North Grant Avenue, Exeland, WI, Spray Booth #2; The spray booth utilized for tasks including, but not limited to, chopping and gel coating had an average air speed less than 100 linear feet per minute at approximately 50 linear feet per minute.
