29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a) On or about March 12, 2019 at 4923 Pesaro Way, Dublin, Ohio an employee working on a 11/12 pitch roof was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet while performing a metal roof installation without the use of a fall protection system. The employer had not trained employees on the recognition and avoidance of hazards to include, but not limited to, fall protection.
