29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: On or about March 14, 2019, on the roof of a residential structure under construction located at 5716 SE Pinehurst Trail in Hobe Sound, Florida, an employee was exposed to a struck-by eye hazard when performing carpentry work using a pneumatic nail gun loaded with 2 ¼ inch steel nails while not wearing eye protection equipment. ISCO Concrete Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1012047, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/04/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1900 NW Pine Tree Way in Stuart, Florida.
