At the construction site, the employer did not ensure that employees were wearing hardhats while working below other employees. Employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard from falling objects.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   At the construction site, the employer did not ensure that employees using a nail gun for framing activities were provided eye protection.  Employees were exposed to being struck by flying objects.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  At a residential construction site,  employees performing framing activities without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard at a height of over 25 feet to the ground below.   The Francisco Ibarra was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1129176, citation number1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/01/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1118 Amber Rose Way, Arlington, Texas 76005.
