29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about at 4/11/2019, at building 6490, employees installing roof tiles on a 5:12 pitch roof without a fall protection system were exposed to an approximate 20 feet fall hazard. b) On or about at 4/11/2019, at building 6461, employees applying mortar mix to roofing tiles on a 5:12 pitch roof without a fall protection system were exposed to an approximate 20 feet fall hazard.
