29 CFR 1926.501(c): When employees were exposed to falling objects the employer did not require employees to wear hard hats and did not implement measures to prevent objects from falling from higher levels as set forth in (c)(1)-(3) of this section: (a) on the jobsite - head protection was not utilized by employees working on the ground cleaning roof debris from around the building and neither were toeboards, screens, guardrails, or a canopy structure erected, nor the area to which objects could fall barricaded while roof work including, but not limited to, roof tear-off was performed, exposing employees to a falling object hazard; observed on or about 3/18/2019.
