29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: (a) Date of Violation: 03-18-2019; Location: Hampton VA Medical Center, Building 110 B Emergency Room Entrance, 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667, Condition: The employer did not ensure that employee(s) used adequate height ladders that prevented them from standing on the top, top/step of a six foot A-frame style ladder. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
