Such training should have taken place at the time of the employees initial assignment, and should have covered items such as, but not limited to, a copy of the regulatory text of 1910.1030 regulation, explanations of the modes of transmission of bloodborne pathogens and a general explanation of the epidemiology and symptoms of bloodborne diseases.

29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. a) On or about March 14, 2019, at the Avon, Ohio facility the employer did not report to the local OSHA office of an employee hospitalization within twenty-four hours. An employee was hospitalized with injuries on March14, 2019 after the employee fell approximately 3 feet from a pallet. The Toledo area office was notified of the hospitalization on March 18, 2019.
