29 CFR 1926.102(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee who wears prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design, or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses without disturbing the proper position of the prescription lenses or the protective lenses. (a) Job Site: On March 21, 2019 and at times prior thereto, the controlling contractor did not ensure its sub-contractor protected its employees when exposed to eye injuries from struck-by hazards when utilizing a skill saw for framing activities. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
