29 CFR 1910.107(e)(5): Containers supplying spray nozzles were not closed or provided with metal coverings that were kept closed:    a) 15E Easy Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 - Spray Area/Warehouse    Employees used spray nozzles to spray wooden merchandise in the spray booth. Containers supplying spray nozzles with flammable chemicals including but not limited to HC Aristovar Ultrasand (clear conversion varnish) and HC R66 HS Classic-Coat White Primer, both containing toluene, ethanol and isopropanol, were covered in painters drop cloth.    Violation occurred on or about 3/27/19.    WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(5): Respiratory protection retraining was not conducted annually in the workplace:    a) 15E Easy Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 - Spray Area/Warehouse    Employees required to use half face respirators while spray painting wooden merchandise in the spray booth using hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to Wiping Stain Clear Tint Base S64T50, containing light aliphatic hydrocarbons and Conversion Varnish Low Gloss White H66W53, containing titanium dioxide were not provided respirator protection retraining annually.      Condition observed on or about 3/27/19.    WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.107(g)(7): No smoking signs in large letters on contrasting color background were not conspicuously  posted at all spraying areas:  a) 15E Easy Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 - Spray Area/Warehouse  Employees used spray painted wooden merchandise in an open spray booth using flammable chemicals including but not limited to HC Aristovar Ultrasand (clear conversion varnish) and HC R66 HS Classic-Coat White Primer, both containing toluene, ethanol and isopropanol. There were no "no smoking" signs posted in or near the area.  Violation occurred on or about 3/27/19.  WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
