29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(4): Additional engineering controls and work practices and procedures were not used for Class I work as required by 29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(4)(i) through (g)(4)(v):    (a) The employer did not use engineering controls and work practices required for Class I asbestos work.  Employees were removing sprayed on ceiling insulation surfacing material during Class I operations, and did not implement the following requirements:     1. A Competent Person was not supervising asbestos removal operations;   2. Critical barriers and drop cloths to contain and enclose the operation were not used;  3. Negative pressure air handling machines were not used to contain and decrease employee exposure to asbestos fibers.
