Lichtenauer Dr., Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential roofing work, using pneumatic nailers were exposed to struck-by hazards in that eye protection was not provided.

Lictenhauer Dr., Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential roofing work were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 11 feet from the eave to the ground below, in that fall protection was not used.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   At the jobsite located at 16562 Lichtenauer Dr., Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential roofing work, using a portable extension ladder to access the roof were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 11 feet from the ladder to the ground.  The side rails of the ladder did not extend above the landing surface of the roof.
