Ellerslie, GA., South side of residential structure: On or about 03/27/2019, and at times prior, the employer allowed employees to use the TranzSporter (Model LH200) Platform Hoist as a ladder to access the roof. Manufacturers general safety instructions state that this hoist should never be used as a ladder. Employees were exposed to falls as the first 36-inches of the platform hoist are obstructed by the platform and motor mounts.
