29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On the west side of the construction site, employees performing framing activities without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 14 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On the east side of the construction site, employees use an extension cord to energize a DeWalt skill saw with the outer sheathing pulled away from the terminal screws were exposed to electrical shock hazards.
