29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) On or about March 29, 2019, roof area; employees were using climbing belts while working on a commercial roof to protect against falling approximately 30-feet to the lower level.     No abatement documentation or certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed     a) On or about March 29, 2019, roof area; employees were using an extension ladder to access the roof area where the side rails extended approximately 10-inches above the landing exposing employees to a fall hazard.       In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
