29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure employees in a hoist area were protected from falling 4 feet or more to a lower level. a. On or about April 5, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee in a hoist area was exposed to falls of approximately seventeen (17) feet seven-tenths (7:10) of an inch, created by the presence of unprotected sides, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with falls.
