29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about April 4, 2019 at the worksite located at 610 White Sulphur Road in Gainesville, Georgia, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 16 feet while installing roof joists, when the employer failed to implement the use of fall protection measures.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
